Chase has never been one to mimic, mime or imitate. While that’s probably a good thing considering how often I throw out very inappropriate curse words, it can also be very frustrating. It takes him a long time to pick up a new skill or word. The silver lining is that when he finally does something I know it’s because he’s finally mulled it over enough in his head and he really gets it.

If you watch closely you can see that he’s doing the movements from the song, he even sits (settles) down at the end.

If you aren’t familiar with all things Yo Gabba Gabba, the song is called Settle Down and it’s all about getting all your wiggles out so you can settle down at night. Chase and I have watched this episode hundreds of times together.
