Earlier this week I wrote about traveling to my in-laws having packed for only a weekend when circumstances had us staying for over a week. Not only did we not have enough clothes (no pajamas for Chase) the clothes we had were not weather appropriate. I have to admit this is not the first time I’ve been in that situation. As soon as I realized my predicament I headed straight to the nearest Old Navy. I was able to purchase several outfits for both kids as well as a few things for myself, the total bill was less than $100. I wasn’t at all surprised. I’m a frequent shopper at Old Navy and I have been since before the kids were born.

The thing about kids is they go through a lot of clothes. Katelyn, the queen of spit up, has been known to go through four outfits a day not including her pajamas. Chase is no slouch himself, especially since he’s all about feeding himself these days. It’s not only the clothes that they dirty, it’s the clothes they grow out of. In the first year kids will easily change sizes five times or better. Living in the Midwest tends to complicate matters even more considering that in the past month temperatures have fluctuated nearly 40 degrees, sometimes in the same day.

Shopping at Old Navy allows me stay on budget and keep my kids looking stylish and cute. Not only do they have every day low prices but it really pays to be a card member. I get weekly emails with coupons and extra savings that can be used in store and online.

I think it’s safe to say that Old Navy is the place to go for affordable kids fashion.
